Home Infusion

Home infusion therapy is the intravenous (through the vein) administration of antibiotics, chemotherapy, hydration, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), or pain management to the patient in the comfort and privacy of their home. Therapy can be initiated in the home or as a continuation of a therapy started in the hospital. Home infusion therapy allows the patient to return to a familiar environment and resume daily activities. These advantages offer significant emotional benefits, which in turn, facilitate healing.

The home infusion program at Harrold’s is accredited by the Joint Commission.

Home Infusion therapies include: antibiotics, hydration, chemotherapy, hydration, total parenteral nutrition, pain management, cardiac therapies, immunoglobulin (IVIG), and enteral nutrition.
